The so-called "investigative report" published by the Swedish Aftonbladet was, needless to say, absurd.
Already many serious Swedish newspaper editors and reporters, have denounced Aftonbladet for printing such unfounded nonsense.

So you might ask why Israel is reacting in such way?
I believe, that the reaction of Israel has to do with justified over-sensitivity on certain issues, and the paranoia attached to it. Now, this is like a historical script and seems so hard to move ahead!
If disregarded, the "report" would have faded and passed silently away, like the puff of hot air.

But this reaction, will be giving the paper a huge ground for selling new stories, and exploiting the given chance...And, it will end up becoming, if not already, an International and not anymore a Bilateral issue.
Thanks to Foreign Minister Lieberman, Ambassador Dagan, and the GPO chief Danny Seaman, who now got involved, revoking the Aftonbladet reporter's pass to Gaza and called for a blood test to see if he is eligible for organ donation (as said by the Israeli News). Israel is now engaged in an amazing infantile “battle” with the Swedes, for nothing.
The openly commenting on the report at all, is an enough silly thing to do at an official level. These things are treated at closed doors, studied, and evaluated as to understand what kind of impact might derive from it. This is called political strategy. You cannot develop good politics on an personal "emotional terrain".

Demanding that Swedish officials comment on the report, it is not only insulting their intelligence by asking them to stoop to the level of a tabloid; it is also insulting their values while implying anti-Semitic motives are at play, and this is totally unfounded!
The Swedish government has politely told Israel that it would not intervene in this ridiculous affair, said the news, and by doing so they placed the matter quietly and expediently in its place – squarely within the irrelevant realm of tabloid media-. Israel, on the other hand, has elevated the issue to a level of global significance and thus sparked a diplomatic incident with a friendly country.
The most Israel can do now is to drop the matter at once and issue a statement recognizing the Swedish government as friendly and devoid of anti-Semitism, and take the tabloid/Chief Editor to Court, because under the Law, this would be called "Libel" and it is sue-able. It is a defense to an action for defamation that the words said or written were true.

So lets see if there is any sustainability for their words in Court? There will not be.
Time to grow up. Don't you think?
