When we were children, we used to think about people in terms of "good" or "bad".

As we grow up, we come to learn that there is a universe of grays within the range from good to bad, and also that "good" and "bad" are trespassed by their opposite. And that people is people plus their circumstances.

The more you have access to knowledge, the more you can understand that everybody has reasons to do and behave the way they do. To understand this, does not mean to justify, support or accept it. The way people behave, most of the times, has to do with the needing love and a place in the world.

This means, need of recognition as a significant Other.

The fights in the Middle East are not an exception...
